MILOS Enjoys Busy PALM Expo in Beijing
Leading aluminium trussing, staging and roof systems manufacturer MILOS enjoyed a very busy 2012 PALM Expo exhibition in Beijing, which was held at the New China International Exhibition Centre in May.
As an international company with bases in both Europe and Asia, the exhibition is seen as a key event and opportunity for MILOS to expand its business in the region’s constantly growing entertainment technology sector – for which PALM Expo is China’s largest and most established trade show.
MILOS was represented by Stephen Huang MD of MILOS Guangzhou Co. Ltd. and Vladimír Hasman and Michal Zykán from MILOS Czech Republic.
A range of innovative products were highlighted, including the MILOS M222, M290, M290E and M390 products from the small to medium trussing range and from the larger truss ranges, the M400, M520 and M950.
The latest MILOS xStage S1 system was also featured, complete with scissor leg mechanism.
All products attracted lots of attention from visitors – which saw the eye-catching 8 by 5 metre booth packed with people every day for four days. Feedback revealed that they were impressed with the diversity of MILOS’ standard ranges and with the high quality of the company’s brands in general.
The possibilities offered for custom and ‘to order’ projects – for which MILOS is renowned – were also of big interest, and the new product catalogue was a great success and very well received.
MILOS has exhibited at PALM Beijing since 2006. In that time the company has established many long term and on-going relationships and built a solid regular client base in China, in the process further extending its reputation for excellent products and service.
The team commented that this year’s PALM Expo was one of the best yet in terms of quality and quantity of visitors.
They saw many professionals – individuals and companies – working in rental and staging, together with owners, operators and managers from all types of venues and installations.
About 80 per cent of the new contacts were from China itself, reflecting the generally buoyant market there for MILOS and the genuine interest in supplying quality products.
The new modern exhibition centre near the airport also proved a big success, further raising the profile of the exhibition and offering many additional facilities.
